José Ángel Calle Suárez
DIRECTOR GENERAL, AGENCIA EXTREMEÑA DE COOPERACIÓN INTERNACIONAL PARA EL DESARROLLO (AEXCID)
José Ángel Calle Suárez is the Director of the of Agencia Extremeña de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo (AEXCID). He has developed his professional experience as a specialist in refugee and asylum policies in Spain through the Spanish Commission for Refugee Aid (CEAR). He worked as an expatriate worker in Nicaragua, Honduras, Peru, Chile, Bolivia, Namibia, etc. He has been a representative of several NGOs in Extremadura, and in recent years as an evaluator of international cooperation projects for development in Morocco, the Dominican Republic, and Palestine. He has a Diploma in Social Work with a specialty in Marginalization and Social Exclusion from the Pablo de Olavide University in Seville. He also has a Master’s in Cooperation for development and Humanitarian Aid from the University of Extremadura.
